I’m a psychologist and writer currently based in Amsterdam. Since 1991, I’ve been working with communities affected by armed conflict as a researcher, consultant, therapist, and filmmaker. In 2015 I joined the NGO War Child Holland, where I develop and evaluate mental health and psychosocial interventions for conflict-affected children and families.

In addition to my posts on this blog, I invite you to follow my posts on my new blog “The Refugee Experience” for the magazine Psychology Today. You can also follow me on Twitter: @KennethEMiller. My website is www.kennethemiller.com.

Outside of work, I’m an avid rock climber, swing dancer, and guitar player.
